What is Integrative Somatic Healing?

Integrative somatic healing is a holistic, body based approach that recognizes our innate capacity to heal when it feels safe and supported with the right tools. It works with the mind/body/spirit connection to help release deeply held stress, tension and trauma that may be contributing to physical, emotional, or energetic imbalance.

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, each session is shaped around your unique nervous system, lived experiences and holding patterns, supporting you in reconnecting with yourself, restoring balance, and finding that place of deep exhale so you can feel like yourself again.

I know the power of somatic healing firsthand. For many years I lived with anxiety and chronic physical and mental health challenges that I couldn’t seem to shift, despite all of my efforts. It wasn't until I learned to honor my nervous system that everything changed. ​

Today, I am deeply passionate about supporting people as they move from survival mode into a greater sense of inner sovereignty— reconnecting with safety, choice, and self-trust within their own bodies and lives.​​

My approach weaves compassionate presence with proven somatic techniques and a deep understanding of the mind–body–spirit connection.

Why this work is important

We live in a world that rarely asks us to slow down, pause and listen within. Instead, we're encouraged to keep pushing, shuv it all down, and carry on, often at the expense of our own well-being. Over time, stress, chronic hypervigilance and disconnection can become so familiar that we begin to mistake them for normal.

Somatic healing gently invites us back into safety and presence where so much of our lived experience can be held and processed. It is a practice of slowing down, listening inward, and holding sacred space for ourselves so that healing can naturally unfold.

What is EFT tapping

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called "tapping," is a gentle, evidence-informed mind-body practice that combines light tapping on specific acupressure points with mindful awareness. Drawing from both modern psychology and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it helps calm the nervous system while creating space to process emotions, shift limiting beliefs, and release patterns of stress held within the body.

What are somatic access points?

Somatic access points are areas in the physical body that store emotional energy. Physical sensations, areas of tension, or patterns within the body that offer a window into our inner experience. Rather than seeing the body as separate from the mind, somatic healing recognizes that our emotions, stress, and lived experiences can be reflected in our posture, breath, muscle tension, and overall physiology.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports the body's natural ability to rest, restore, and heal. Originating in Japan, it works with the body's subtle energy system to encourage balance while promoting a deep sense of relaxation and nervous system regulation.

What is integrative coaching?

Integrative coaching is a supportive, collaborative process that helps you explore your inner world, clarify what’s feeling challenging, and gently shift the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Rather than focusing only on mindset or goal-setting, this approach considers the whole person—your thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, lived experiences, and the deeper beliefs that shape how you move through life.

Do I need to talk about my past or relive difficult experiences?

No. You are never required to share anything you don’t feel comfortable exploring.

While understanding your story can sometimes be helpful, the focus of our work is not on retelling or reliving difficult experiences. Instead, we gently work with what is present in the body and nervous system in the moment—your sensations, emotions, patterns, and responses—as a way to support healing and regulation.

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session is a gentle space to arrive exactly as you are. We begin by getting a sense of what you’re currently navigating and what support feels most needed for you.

From there, the session becomes a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. I work with your body’s wisdom in the present moment, using nervous system tracking to gently notice what is arising and what may need support. From this place, I intuitively draw from a range of embodied healing tools—such as somatic practices, EFT, breath awareness, and grounding techniques—always guided by your comfort and readiness.
